Whenever I need to put electrical components outside and want them water and bug proofed, I use the gray Carlon boxes that are sold at big box stores and at electrical supply houses. For cable entries, I use a properly sized waterproof cable gland. Those are a little harder to find, but usually Digikey, Allied, or similar has them for order. Here's an example. vy 73,Dave N4KD
