When mine failed I just ordered a new pair from Yaesu. Not that expensive all things considered and no flapping around trying to get something else to work sort of.

Well, the entire automotive industry is metric (even what's left of "the big three"), so this shouldn't eliminate the possibility of using exhaust clamps.
