In most (or actually, all) non-profit organizations I have been involved with, unless money is expressly donated for a particular program or purpose, everything goes into a general fund.
Was there a donor who gave money for the specific purpose of looking for a legal way to get rid or punish a member? Or to stonewall information requests from duly elected directors?
