I'm a new Amsat-NA member since october 4. Never noticed a download link. Now that I am logged in on store.amsat.org, I see 3 downloads remaining but are expired since october 7? I wonder how to get the "Getting started with amateur satellites"
Good job from Amsat to build and launch a new sat. The excitement to hear it short after launch, triggered me to become a member.

There would no reason to even try it. I'm surprised you discovered it. The webpage told me it was getting "get". My renewal was already taken out of my credit card but every time I go back and check my account at the AMSAT store, it says "processing". One more thing, being a member for many years, when I tried to log into the store to renew, it no longer knew me. I had to create a new account using my same e-mail and password I always had and it was happy. The last thing I purchased was the broadband pre-amp which was not that long ago! . Still says order processing when I checked the AMSAT store this morning. Don't know what it is processing, they were paid and I have the e-b ook. As a heads up to anyone trying to download this after getting a new membership, the link (at least for me on Firefox on Windows 7) does not provide the full file name, only "Getting". Importantly, it doesn't have pdf as the extension. If you just add that to the file after downloading it, it will open fine.
