Hi Domenico,
On the transponder readiness review meeting last year it was decided to fly the SDX (Software Defined Transponder) for the UV-Mode.
One of the reasons was, that this would allow us to have LEILA and STELLA functionality against the Alligators problem.

The SDX design by Howard Long G6LVB was also described in the AMSAT-DL journal...

Hi William, PE1RAH
It would be very interesting to know from you if your Mode-UV transponder
http://www.qsl.net/pe1rah/p3e_mode-uv.htm
http://www.qsl.net/pe1rah/p3e_mode-uv2.htm
will fly or not on P3-E and eventually when.
For your information the Mode-UV indian transponder aboard of VO-52 is working very well and at present time VO-52 along with the old OSCAR-7 is the only satellite with a linear FDMA transponder to be used for CW and SSB so that I hope in a succesfull performance of Delphi-C3
I would like to know from you why your Mode-UV dutch transponder abord VO-52 is not switched ON periodically with the Mode-UV indian transponder.
Congratulations for your job.
Tanks for your replay
