The future of orbital data will be indeed be changing away from the traditional TLE format as described by TS Kelso at :It remains to be seen how the amateur community adapts to this change once the Space Force starts using object numbers that don't fit in the aging TLE format. Hams hate to retire old software... we have the web site configured to allow HTTP access for ancient tracking clients that can't do encrypted HTTPS, and we still get about a dozen downloads a week of the "amsat.pdb" to support PocketSat on PalmOS.de KM1P Joe
