Hello Mike, I suppose you have set the time zone of your location with the Windows Control panel and your PC clock shows the correct local time. In the SatPC32 menu "Setup", "Observer" leave the default setting "auto" for the item "UTC offset". Then you can switch between displaying UTC and local time by clicking on the control "L" ("U" rsp.). in the upper left area of the SatPC32 window. All times displayed in SatPC32 will immediately switch between UTC and your local time, but the satellite position in the map will remain unchanged, of course. In menu "Options" you can choose whether you want the program to start with showning UTC or local time.

I have been trying to get familiar with PCSAT32. I was a bit confused today. I tried switching from EST to UTC on my computer and I assumed everything would remain the same as far as satellite positions on the map etc. When I did change the time everything changed why is this? Where should I leave the time for correct satellite positions etc?
