That turns out to be a good barometer from my QTH for how high up the sat has to get before someone can successfully activate it. When it comes up from the south over the Pacific, it might get up to 20° elevation before someone starts calling CQ. I know for certain that my 5-watt HT and I are not triggering it before then.
