Bob, as Alan asked already: What is the number of the OLE error? The only one of these kind of errors I heard about is Ole error 800453A, see FAQs file fig. 5k. Under Windows 7 and later the message appears if no speakers or headphones are plugged into the computer. 73s, Erich, DK1TB
