I wanted to take just a minute to offer a huge "Thank You" to Patrick for doing what he does best - teaching and promoting amateur satellite work.
I have had a very slow time getting on the linear satellites for a variety odd reasons. But a business trip to Tucson this week allowed me to re-route through Phoenix today after Patrick agreed to meet up with me and help troubleshoot my receive setup.
So today finally rolled around, and Patrick went out of his way to drive across town, sit down with me, help me tweak my setup, and then try it out on an FO-29 pass. Things worked great, and Patrick then gave me some great advice on my transmit setup.
We capped it off with a great meal and good amateur radio conversation, followed by a little tour of Scottsdale, Tempe, and downtown Phoenix. It was a great and productive today that helped me out tremendously.
So thank you again for your help, Patrick, for all your time and assistance today.
