Hello Enzo,
Yes, the 9k6 BBS is operational and working.
Please adjust your uplink freqency (try UP and DOWN in 500 Hz or 1 kHz steps) and see if that helps. Most users report that a high gain antenna with 10-50 Watts power at the antenna for the L-band uplink results in success.
I find 1268.705 works best for me, sometimes even .708.
Also please check your AO-51 setup in Wisp/Satellite Setup. Broadcast Callsign must be PECHO-11 and BBS Callsign must be PECHO-12.
There is no other active/functional BBS bird at 9k6, nor any with 1.2 GHz uplinks.
Also---what TNC are you using for 9k6? I found out many years ago that AO-51 does not like the transmitted signal from my TAPR EVM56k DSP unit, so it rarely if ever heard me.

Hi Folks, I am trying the bird on: 9k6 BBS and Telemetry. Does it work? With the MSPE I can just receive numbers like:
B:44253341
What does it mean? I am trying to request the DIR on 1268.700 MHz, but I do not get any response. On the upper side of the MSPE program often I can read:
Frames Heard from PACB-1
I am asking this because I would like to see if my system still works. Is there any other Bird that I can use the 1.2 GHz Band? Any help will be really appreciated Thanks in advance.
