A CELEBRATION OF AMATEUR RADIO: LECTURES & DEMOS
The Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club will set up a ham radio station at Custer this Saturday at 8:00 A.M. and will operate until 8:00 A.M. Sunday morning, broadcasting around the world. There will be demonstrations and hands-on opportunities to learn about amateur radio.
Radio licensing exams will be administered at noon (contact Kevin AB2ZI for info): ab2iz@arrl.net
Lectures will run Saturday afternoon and evening and be presented by GSBARC, Peconic ARC and Custer Members on a variety of radio-related topics. Please check Custer's website closer to the date for lecture times and details.
Suggested donation for the event: $10 Custer & ARC Members, $15 Non-Members, $5 Students.
