Just a suggestion: Try wood dowel rod driven inside a schedule 20 PVC pipe. These items should be available locally wood is several times stronger than steel PVC protects the wood.

Wondering if anyone can suggest where they got their fiberglass elevation supports for antennas from?
I have a friend who is looking for longer pieces than I have for a project and I can't find any of the info that has been mentioned on the -bb over the years. Probably just not doing the right word searches.
Thanks,
James W8ISS
