Speaking of CW beacons, I tried to copy the CW beacon from CAS-4B this morning and all I found was a continuous tone/carrier. It was doppler shifting so I assume I was hearing (and watching on waterfall) the satellite but no CW. Is this normal? Does it just send code on certain occasions?

That's probably the Triton-1 CW beacon.
