     It is true, we have suspended new signups for the mail forwarding service. AMSAT is evaluating proposed changes to the service. The mail forwarding service has been around for roughly 20 years. As you can imagine, things have changed significantly in the e-mail world. Many of those callsigns from 20 years ago are probably still in the system. We are working out how we can move forward, given the challenges and complexity with hosting a service such as this.

    No firm decisions at this time. But for sure we will advise everyone once we have a decision on the way forward.

Existing aliases are working, but when you attempt to create a new one, you get this message:

"AMSAT is not accepting applications for new mail aliases at this time."
