Deeply saddened at the loss of Bob. He was my favorite example ofa person walking to a different drummer. His successes in gettingspacecraft in the amateur bands to orbit when he got them to orbit willprobably stand for a long long time.
RIP Bob

It waswith sadness that I learned the news of Bob's passing. He was my mentor (as wasColin, VK5HI) and taught me many things about satellites.
There weretimes when we were in daily contact. Besides APRS, he left us many interestingsatellite projects (PCSAT, PSAT, RAFT, MARS, SAPPHIRE, QIKOM...). I remember agreat time when Henk, PA3GUO and I actively supported the ANDE mission. I thankBob for his confidence in making me the command station of PCSAT and PSAT.
Mysympathies go out to his family. Thank you for your life's work for AmateurRadio, Bob. Rest in peace.
