That's an interesting situation:
If the balloon is on 145.825 and Aeronautical mobile is not permitted on the UK licence...... Who holds the transmitting licence for this?

You’ll be the last to get hits from the balloon. It is now (1700 EST) out south of Nantucket and heading east. Got one hit from an IGate in Boston. Should have a few more hours range to good Oscar stations…

Bob, the students included 145.825 in the hope of being digipeated via the ISS. Unfortunately that digipeater is no longer operating so they've been hoping one of the other APRS sats on 145.825 may pick it up.
