AO-51 does send telemetry on 435.150. It is 9600 bps FSK.
It is about the same strength as the analog signal, but you need a better S/N ratio to be able to decode the data.
I always recommend a preamp at the antenna for digital reception.

I have been listening and heard voice on 435.300 but no obvious data.
Maybe it is weaker ?
