I have the DTMF uplink frequency 145.980 set to NFM in B band with the 145.825 APRS frequency set in A band (and enable all the correct the APRS features). I assign the PF2 key as DTMF ch 0 where I have the correct DTMF tones stored. You can assign those frequencies as memories to ID them. I'm not 100% sure if the D74A actually TX in NFM though since the NFM is set in the RX menu. Others are getting in with the 74 at five watts, so it's possible
With the D74A se up this way, youI can RX and decode APRS packets and messages from PSAT2 along with voice as well (I have PF1 assigned to REC). Just hit the PF2 key to send the tones on 145.980.
It's a neat satellite...
