I am delighted that clubs and conventions continue to realize there are hams (and soon-to-be-hams!) that desire to learn how to get started in this aspect of our magnificent hobby!
I will not be so crass and say there’s an “up-side” to our pandemic. But Zoom presentations have, indeed, brought
many to meetings that may have not been able to attend “physically” before. The home-bound, those
without transportation, those who are ill, students and others - all are benefitting.
After we get through all this, I feel many clubs might consider “simulcasting” meetings - in-person plus a
simple-to-set-up live video feed.
