Thanks to all that responded to my question concerning the Kenwood TS-2000 and 9k6 packet.

Special thanks to Jean Marc (3B8DU) for his menu selection list. 

I was not setting menu item 56 correctly.

Now I can see the data in the hs_soundmodem waterfall.

Unfortunately I was not able to decode packets even with excellent passes which I believe is the result of an inadequate antenna setup and rain that was heavy at times.

I’m in an area with a lot of foliage some of which are southern pine trees with needles that are natural attenuators at 70cm, especially when wet.
