Unfortunately we can not use 432MHz for satellite communication. We can use Mode A (145MHz uplink and 29MHz downlink) though.
I used to live in LA, CA and as N3LQ, I made many QSO's with AO-7 Mode B. As you know, she has a fairly big footprint and I've enjoyed it.
I wish I could do this again in Japan.

Hello Looking over the AO-7 log (great resource) and there are no JA's. Why? Can they not use 432Mhz? I have a small window to JA.
