Hello everyone.
That Acer is a beautiful machine. I like the size of the micro laptops.
If a less expensive micro is desired, though, people shouldn't overlook the older SONY VAIO PCG-505F series. I have one, and it is pretty capable. It runs Windows ME (I actually like ME), and has a USB port on it. I have used a 4-Port USB adapter to run 2 USB-to-serial cables, and it works quite well. And you can get them on eBay for as little as $100.
Even though it has an older OS on it, its size and performance are adequate for what I ask it to do. (Sometimes, the LATEST OS just isn't necessary when all you need the PC to be is literally perform as a man/machine interface)
