[AMSAT-BB] IO-117 Question

Dear Folks:

Although I was active on some of the digital satellites many years ago, I've not taken advantage of the more modern digital birds.  I am interested in using IO-117 and have reviewed some of the online materials.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good article (was there in the AMSAT Journal? - if so, I missed it) or some other source of info.  I've got the RF and tracking parts of satellite operation without difficulty, but am unsure of the software.  So that's where I need to focus.
