I knew Tom from past AMSAT conferences held at Goddard Space Flight center, NOAA Capstone GPS meetings in Baltimore, and from NASA GPS center-wide team meetings in Washington D.C. He did world class work on long baseline radio astronomy and precision timing through the application of GPS. He had a wealth of knowledge and freely shared with all. He is already deeply missed.

It is a terribly sad duty for me to tell you that our dear friend, peer and colleague, Tom Clark passed away. I have already agreed with AMSAT managment to put together a memorial talk for the AMSAT meeting and extended effort for the journal and online. I heartbroken to lose my friend.
