Tim,

Putting in the Lat/Lon directly in Observer rather than having SATPC
calculate it did the trick!! Now shows EM32 OK.

BTW, the WINAOS did it properly by only entering the 6 character Grid,
but the "Observer" setup on the main map didn't change the crosshair
until the actual Lat/Lon was entered and stored. Good to know.

Hi Tim,

I just put in the 6 character Grid and let SATPC calculate the
coordinates. Can't remember what I did before. I'll try doing
the actual Lat/Lon and see what happens.

Did you use the grid square or your actual coordinates?

I ended up using my GPS and then put the lat/lon in by hand and it worked much better...

I'm trying to get the crosshair of my present location shown
properly on the SATPC32 Map. When I was in EM54, I moved
it successfully from my home QTH EN91. Now that I'm in EM32
again, it doesn't want to move there. I updated "Observer" for the
main map and also for WinAOS. I closed SATPC numerous times,
but it still stays in EM54. Perhaps, it's an OCD thing. The calculation
work out OK for the passes when compared to AMSATDroid-Free,
so it's completely usable. Having the crosshair correct is helpful when
watching when the footprint begins/ends (AOS/LOS).
