Hello Rajesh,It was good to see your message about being QRV Greencube on the AMSAT-bb. To date, only VU stations from the south have been active on IO-117, because of this only a very limited number of NA stations have been able to complete a QSO with VU! I am located in Michigan EN62VT; I believe we will have a short window of opportunity to complete a QSO and I certainly look forward to that opportunity!Greencube has been offline for some time, but has now been active since the 08Z pass between JA and NA this morning. It is hard to say if it will remain operational or if it will go offline again, so keep an eye on the AMSAT OSCAR status page...You should be able to get in with 10W and 14 elements, however once you get one packet through you might not be able to break the pileup that will result. Keep in mind that this is a single channel simplex bird, so not every packet you send will be digipeated due to collisions. Timing your transmissions will improve success! Try experimenting when the footprint does not include EU or NA; this should give you a little breathing space to get everything sorted out.I hope to hear you on IO-117 soon!73, Doug K8DPOn Mon, Aug 19, 2024 at 1:18 PM Rajesh Vagadia - VU2EXP via AMSAT-BB <amsat-bb@amsat.org> wrote:Thank you Bill for pointing out on Greencube current status! Yeah now amsat status page also reflects the QRV reports from users. I am getting prepared to work this beautiful bird with my 14ele yagi & IC-705 in portable fashion. I still want to know how many members are successfully working IO-117 with Icom IC-705 (10W)?Thank you73Rajesh Vagadia VU2EXPRajkot Gujarat IndiaML52JHOn Mon 19 Aug, 2024, 9:48 PM Bill Shell, <wmshell@gmail.com> wrote:Rajesh,
