Please do remember that AO– 27 was for many many years only on a schedule and that to have it activated on for several minutes only during passes between a pair of north latitudes. The satellite had died back in 2011 but the Control operators had managed to resurrect it several years ago. If memory serves me right, though in its resurrected state, they had problems with the clock and couldn’t keep it operational only in daylight and that’s the last I heard of it.  If someone has contact with the Control operators, they might ask the question about the Satellites status.
