Jack,
EA4GPZ has mentioned that SSDV can be decoded using gr-satellites - Decoding SSDV from JY1SAT: https://destevez.net/2019/04/decoding-ssdv-from-jy1sat/ Acording to him, the SSDV images can be decoded with the FUNcube dashboard software, but that software is closed-source and there is no public description about the format in which the images are sent. That is why he used gr-satellites.
As Rajesh mentioned, I have also not tried decoding SSDV images yet.

Hi Samuel,
I was doing same process earlier. Now since few series I am live decoding sstv images using *RXSSTV* software which gives PD120 mode selection as well, it's nice & pretty simple software you can try. You can search/ view my decoded images on sstv Image gallery at

Good day all.
I recorded many images from the sstv iss experiment to a digital recorder on my phone and when I tried to decode them on mmsstv as I have done before the program seems to have changed from the last time I used it. There is no pd120 mode on the version on my computer. Has the program been changed?
Can someone help me so I can decode my images and submit them. I am using win 7.
Thanks and 73 de VE2LJV Samuel Galet
