I had the same problem with a Dodge Grand Caravan. The problem was isolated to the car radio clock oscillator. After much discussion with the dealer and next the designer of the radio ( a ham), they sent me another radio. This one had a different processor in it. The problem was resolved. I now frisk any car that I am about to buy with a HT to see where the noise is.
