Latex should be fine, i would think. Just make sure it's not from China, the lead is an excellent shield! Hi Hi.

We find in cellular at 850 MHz that we have to use paint without metal when covering the fiberglass raydomes but painting the boom is nothing like that. But unless you going to put this behind a painted wall it's not an issue big issue.
