
Not sure about that mount in particular, but it's definitely been done. It's going to be moving in spurts, so not good for visual tracking, but an antenna won't care. The Elk antenna (I have one) doesn't have a particularly sharp beam pattern, so you really don't need any sort of precision.
There's a plug-in for Hamlib, I think, to interface to many of the telescope mounts. If you can get the software to talk, might as well give it a try.
