Hi all,
Unfortunately Marco (CU7BC) had a massive rain cell over his area (the kind the temperature drops around 6ºF in 2 minutes) about half way AO-7 pass. I could hear his whistle trying to lock on the downlink when suddenly he vanished. I was on the frequency with Frank K4FEG and KB1RVT, and called him several times. The downlink was very good, and I had a first on SATs for me - a "chat" with Frank rather then a quick QSO. I ended up calling Marco's cell phone to figure out the rain had caused flooding. Later on XW-2F there was no contacts from the East Coast. But I got both of our CQ calls on tape. Check it out at http://plus2.dutrasousa.name/CU7BC.mp3 so you can now know what to "look" for.
I'll keep everyone posted of future activities, while I'm still trying to get 3 other guys into the birds.
