Ok, here it is.  And remember most of you are only on the bb.  Please do not subscribe to any of the internal lists if you see them (we are trying to fix that).

First, you have a single account on mailman.  You can login at mailman.amsat.org.  If you have not done so before, you will need to create an account with a username (not just an email address).  You also specify your email address when you create this account.  When you do that you will automatically find that you can access info about the lists you are subscribed to
(in this case specifically the bb)
But here is the key.  When you go to your account profile, you can add additional email addresses and designate one of them to be primary.  The primary email is where you get mail from the lists, but you can also send from the other addresses that you add.

So it is working as expected.  It was just not terribly clear what to expect.  Sorry about that...

Folks, you need to create a whole new account with a non-email username.   Include your email (or maybe you add it afterwards) and it will connect you will the mailing list that you are on.  So the deal is that your mailman login is NOT your email address.  I hope that helps. I wrote something about it to others when we converted some local lists.  Let me see if I can find it.

I did exactly as the email said to do it. You have to create a new account. The lists you are currently signed up for do transfer over for you automatically. I had no problem. You should have no problem as long as you follow the steps one at a time as it says in the email from Matthew Alberti <matthewalberti@gmail.com>
the instructions are also in the pdf file he attached to the email.

I just tried to resubscribe and it tells me I’m already subscribed but it won’t let me log in. I’d say this is screwed up!

Ok, somebody tell me how to get in and make changes to my subscription. I got in but when it asked for my email address and password it didn’t recognize either of my email addresses.
