Unless you're a big-gun VHF/UHF contester that needs every last dB of antenna gain, circularly polarized sat antennas will work quite nicely for Terrestrial work. This is especially true on 70cm where the gain from a 40 element M^2 436CP like the one I have is so high that the 3dB loss is hardly missed..
