Hello Enzo,
As of right now, the satellite is still at 9k6 and the L-band uplink is active.
My personal experience with digital uplink on L-band to AO-51 is similar to yours--it is difficult to get in. I find it takes considerable power. Others seem to get in just fine (VK5HI, ZS1LS).
Please try adjusting your uplink. Some find 1268.705 works best, others say 1268.708. So it varies, please experiment over several kHz to what might work at your station.
I will probably make the change to 38k4 around 2045 utc today, due to the way the passes are at my QTH.

Hi folks, i would like to know if AO-51 is workable via packet 9k6 or 38k4 baud. Right now I had a good pass and it was still at 9k6 baud mode. As I am using the wisp software, I have tried to TX to the bird At 1268.705 Mhz at 9k6 baud but I did not get any response
From the bird in DL at 435.150 Mhz.
The only packets I get is only a series of 5 or 6 numbers. They are always the same series. At this time as I was off from the satellites for about 5 or 6 months, Now I do not know if it is normal or I have problems in uplink. I also would like to know at what time the bird will be switched at 38k4 baud because I Have made the modifies to my TS-790E unfortunately when the old birds at 38k4, like UO-22, KO-23, and others dropped down and could not try if the job was made good. This is the chance to check it. Pleas any help for my questions above? Thanks in advance.
