Steve,It's been extensively discussed on Twitter @AMSAT a while back and I can relate from using my FT-1634 setup using the BLP-200, it is a non-issue for SSB and FM at 5WDual HTs will be fine. Many rovers are currently using it with no issues with more than 5W power. Obviously not recommended for high power use!!!73, Adrian AA5UKOn Sunday, January 3, 2021, 8:42:56 AM CST, Steve Kristoff <skristof@etczone.com> wrote:Don,I have considered the Minicircuit BLP-200 for use in my two radio set-up, but Minicircuits rates it for a maximum input power of 0.5 W. Do you transmit through it with a full 5 W or do you bypass it for transmitting or ???Steve AI9IN

Subject: [AMSAT-BB] Re: Popular HT's for satellite workI forgot to mention it in this post that you need to use a filter on a 2 radio setup to prevent desensitization.Mini-circuits BLP-200 and MFJ-916B are 2 that I have used, and I know there are other options.
