Darn. Still leaves us without a viable TRUE duplex HT in the marketplace.
Man, if I win the lottery, I'll have the IC-W32a re-issued ... with complete voice prompts for the vision-impaired, 1.0 and/or 2.5khz tuning steps, 2.5W with 4.8VDC, 1,000 memories, some sort of USB charging capability, commercial spring belt clip, AMSAT membership form ...
That little radio has a great "feel" in your hand. It is missed ....
Memories need to be capable of storing cross-band splits (TX on one band, RX on another), which I don't think ICOM usually supports.
