I've been sort of addicted to the sky at a glance feature of gpredict, but it blows up after a few hours of running. I find your program's display a bit more informative and intuitive. Very nice!

By "the specified directory", do you mean the directory it showed at first startup or you passed in a directory? Did it fail to download the keps? That is the usual reason. You need to have a live internet connection. I don't ship any default keps with the program.
Which platform are you running it on?
