JO-97 is in full time transponder mode and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

Subject: [AMSAT-BB] Operational status

Looking for operational status updates on JO 97, FO 98 and FO 99. I know that several of these have been heard over North America at times but the AMSAT Satellite Status page doesn’t currently have much information. And probably is because they’re not Really operational. I’m going to be involved with a satellite demo a week from Saturday and had all three of these in the pass prediction list but don’t want to waste effort, except maybe for data carriers, on them.
