Hi Erich. Good to hear from you. I switched over to nasabare yesterday when I realized something was amiss with nasa.all. I was just letting everyone know what I had found. Everything is back to working 100% as usual...

Hi Jeff, SatPC32 reads Keplerian data files that conform to the TLE standard (now also files with the new CSV, KVN and XML formats, which can be downloaded from the Celestrak website). As you know, SatPC32 has been working with nasa.all for about 20 years. Recently, however, the format of nasa.all has changed:So far, the data record looked like this (in editors or text programs): ISS 1 25544U 98067A 22230.93505244 .00004937 00000-0 93709-4 0 9996 2 25544 51.6434 25.7288 0005501 134.7627 332.5275 15.50223534354917
This is also the format of all other TLE files I know, e.g. nasabare.txt or the Celestrak TLE files.
The current nasa.all files look like this: ISS
1 25544U 98067A 22230.93505244 .00004937 00000-0 93709-4 0 9996
2 25544 51.6434 25.7288 0005501 134.7627 332.5275 15.50223534354917
Because of the blank lines between the satellite name and data line 1 and between data lines 1 and 2, SatPC32 does not recognize the file as a valid TLE file.So far I do not know why the change was made and whether it will stay that way and also not whether the format still corresponds to the TLE standard. Since there are replacement options - e.g. nasabare.txt contains exactly the same satellites as nasa.all - I will not change anything on SatPC32 for the time being.

Several of us that talk on the linear birds in the morning have noticed that SatPC32's Satellites, Update Keps, selected keps file, routine returns either a 'No Keplerian data found!' or a 'Download failed' error. I had to manually copy and paste the kep data from the AMSAT site to get a fresh set. I tried this on two different PC's here. As I haven't updated any of my s/w on this end I'm assuming this is an issue on the AMSAT kep site. Anyone know what's going on here ?
