Rick,
I tried to reproduce the error message but to no avail, hi.

You can either try to  repair some data files manually or un-install / re-install SatPC32.

As
Bernd, KB7AK, wrote SatPC32 stores the brand in the text file
C:\Users\<yourID>\AppData\Roaming\SatPC32\TRX.SQF
Replace the word YaesuII by Icom in this file and save the change.

If you chose YaesuII also for Radio 2 replace YaesuII by Icom also in file
C:\Users\<yourID>\AppData\Roaming\SatPC32\Radio2\TRX_Semi.SQF

Important: The folder AppData in the path above is hidden by default. So, before you can modify the files make first  hidden files and folders visible. To do so use the Windows Explorer and  (under Windows 10) go to  Start > View - Options > Folder Opitions > View > Hidden Files and Folders.

You should now be able to start the program and repeat the configuration.

If not, un-install SatPC32 and make sure that the SatPC32 data folder (see above) is completly empty before you re-install the program.

Upon installation the program will run. As Alan, WA4SCA, suggested: Run DataBackup (menu Programs) and save your settings. Then configure the program step by step. Whenever you have a flawlessly working configuraton save it with DataBackup. Then you can easily restore it if problems occur later.

OK, I was playing around with the cat controls on SATPC32 and somehow changed the radio to a rig I don’t have )FT991 I think)  anyway, now I get  the message “ switch on the radio before you start the program Of it was on click OK the shut SATPC32. Switch the radio off and on, the restart SatPC32 The program will now be closed” So since I can’t open the program to change the radio to the correct one, short of uninstalling a re installing, any ideas how I can fix this?

TIA
