One of the XW-2 birds seems to have a steady digitial signal in the center of the passband. Is this from the bird, or something it is hearing on the uplink?
If it is on the 435.21 to 435.23 uplink it should be nice challenge to try to derive its position from Doppler observations, and then start searching on the ground. Both are lots of fun and a nice ham challenge.
Again, I have not listend to these birds enough to get the big picture, so if I am confused, ignore me.
Its just that this week is our classes annual week to tune in some satellites and I have heard this signal multiple passes.
