Mine has been in the air for about 16 years, until this year, I have not had any problem. However, I am into it for the second time this year, the first time because the brake locked up on the Azmiuth rotator, the second time because the motor failure, same rotator. I am now in the process of rewinding the coils of the motor.

Hi all,
Does anyone do any internal maintenance to the G5500 rotator?
Yeasu does say, they are maintenance free, how ever I don't trust that
due to the 4 seasons, that could happen in one day where I live.
