Thanks Mike, judging by the look of that signal, I can certainly understand it will be difficult to decode. Ross ZL1WN

All, ... telemetry parser is in progress - but it's a very complex telemetry - so give me some time, please ;-)

Can someone please tell me what is happening with ESEO, has it been tested and is it ready for operation yet?
Hi Ross,
I haven't heard much official information about the status of the satellite and the progress of the mission. I think the FUNcube payload is not active yet.
Now that we have a working decoder for ESEO (https://destevez.net/2018/12/decoding-eseo/), we can watch the telemetry to investigate about the satellite status.
Mike DK3WN captured some telemetry packets a couple of days ago: http://www.dk3wn.info/p/?p=91603
A telemetry parser for these is not ready yet, but the documentation is available here: https://www.esa.int/Education/ESEO/Be_the_first_to_catch_a_signal_from_ESEO
From a quick look by hand at the packets, it seems the spacecraft is in safe mode and several systems are powered down.
PS: We still have to figure out some small details / check our understanding about the telemetry format, so it would be good if you can send us some more telemetry packets in hex as Mike did, so that we can check our ideas.
73,
Dani EA4GPZ.
