You know this is a good point. Geo seems to be the Holy Grail for most satellite folks.
I'm not sure how fun it would be as it would pretty much be like Skype at that point. Molniya orbits, now those are fun.

When Clint wins the lottery, three things will occur -
1. I will approach AMSAT-NA for a geosynchronous bird project over the US ... or whatever project "needs" to be commissioned at the time.
2. I will contract with Kenwood have 5,000 HTs made. They will be made for the visually-impaired hams in thew world. Voice prompts for EVERYTHING ... in several languages ... made in concert with HandiHams' input. And donated to them. It irritates me that the industry hasn't done this already - but you and I know exactly why - the big firms do not think there's money in it for this market.
3. Pay off my first mortgage.
