We got a late start today, leaving around 1530z. Only one pass was attempted, AO-51 at 2226z. The location was EN84FG Tawas, MI, in a park on Lake Huron. Seventeen contacts were made including one with TI2SW who made a rare appearance. Also worked XE1AO early in the pass.
We are in Alpena MI now which is in EN85. Tomorrow we continue north to Sault St Marie on the US side. The next day we will be in Canada in EN85 and EN86.
So far the equipment is working fine. It is hot here, 91 this afternoon. Thanks to all who worked me from Tawas. Recording made from EN91 is on my website.
