What you're looking for sounds like what someone asked for during field day.

Eventually this was posted:

https://www.amsat.org/satellites-likely-to-be-active-on-field-day-2021/

What would be cool is if the following three pages were sourced from GitHub, or something similar, and anyone could submit pull requests to update them:

https://www.amsat.org/two-way-satellites/
https://www.amsat.org/fm-satellite-frequency-summary/
https://www.amsat.org/linear-satellite-frequency-summary/

Then, instead of one person having to research/stay up to date on the status of dozens of satellites, and make all the updates to the pages on their own, they could just be the maintainer of the pages and anyone in the world (including the owner/control ops of sats) could submit updates.

You could also have those pages pull in the last known status/color for each satellite from here:

https://amsat.org/status/

Just an idea that someone would have to spend time setting up. I know that's not always helpful, but I thought I'd mention it as I've been thinking about it for a while.

That is what I thought, however our AMSAT.org website linear transponder page does not reflect that.   Also based on the reports on the status page very few people seem to know that.

JO-97 is in full time transponder mode and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

Subject: [AMSAT-BB] Operational status

Looking for operational status updates on JO 97, FO 98 and FO 99.  I know that several of these have been heard over North America at times but the AMSAT Satellite Status page doesn’t  currently have much information. And probably is because they’re not Really operational. I’m going to be involved with a satellite demo a week from Saturday and had all three of these in the pass prediction list but don’t want to waste effort, except maybe for data carriers, on them.
