With the rudeness that has become the standard on the fm sats, it is an every day event where you hear someone call, you respond to that particular call, and someone will climb all over the pass calling someone else.
In Jon's case he is just asking for some help on a call sign. If the other side confirms, then Jon does the same. If the other guy does not, it's busted for Jon.
Way too many 'Sat Cops' in this group. The entire qsl concept is largely based on mutual trust. I have denied qsl several times and I would expect the same on a 'shaky' contact. In my experience, the satellite group is way above the rest in being honest about a qsl confirmation.
