The other way is to operate split and spread the callers away from your frequency...that's what they are doing on 10...the ops walk around the band picking out calls that are in the clear. Of course you would have to maintain a stable xmit frequency for him/her to find you to confirm but if the calling op is operating full duplex it would be most efficient.

A cooperative effort from everyone would be needed to maximize the QSOs. If everyone has their power cranked to 11 and they keep calling, you'll never hear the 5 watt signal of K1N when they attempt to respond to someone.
That's probably too much to ask though. Maybe the only way to do a satellite DXpedition in an entity as rare as this is to have everyone register their interest, then assign skeds and have the DXpedition operator call through the list pre-prepared for each pass.

Heard K1N calling in the 435.823 area but there were several calling on his frequency so very hard to hear any replies. He called a few times but too many callers on or close to his transmit frequency. This was on the FO-29 pass around 2200z.

K1N has sent word they will attempt to be on satellite today. That's all the info I have.
Listen for them 435.820 +/- Doppler on FO-29, and remember they are half-duplex.
Good Luck.
